The staff add to the ease, moving with a genuine kindness that never feels staged — attentive yet relaxed, knowledgeable yet approachable. It’s clear this is more than just food on a plate; it’s a space where care lingers in the details, from the way dishes arrive piping hot to the shared moments around the table.

Jhinook’s menu is a mosaic of South Asian flavors, where familiar staples meet subtle surprises. Whether it’s the comfort of fluffy naan bread eager to soak up rich sauces or the gentle heat of a vindaloo that greets the palate with increasing warmth, there’s an inviting balance between tradition and a touch of personal flair. Sea bass carries a fragrant masala, while the tandoori grill offers a smoky, tender touch. Even unexpected finds like spicy squid rings or homely chicken nuggets hint at thoughtful variety, catering to a range of tastes while keeping the soul of the cuisine intact.

Food is fantastic and service is always prompt. There are a couple of improvements I would suggest - the chicken in butter chicken is often quite large strips which I would prefer to see cut up as they can end up a little bland. There have also been a couple of occasions where I haven't been given enough sauce for the naan I have ordered to accompany the curry. Jhinook always offers something extra in place of a free cobra which is something we always appreciate but we would like the opportunity to stick with the offer of free chips as opposed to other sides that seem to be being offered now (we gave a few of these to our dog and last order without them felt less of a family meal). But these are all minor suggestions as we really do love eating here.

Not been here for few years and decide to come back. Food was absolutely outstanding and freshly prepared. The chef has brought out the food himself, staff were friendly and easily available. Will definitely be back. Also great prices, highly recommend.

Did extremely well to say we were a group of 12 including 3 kids! All the food came out together nice and hot, didnt take longer than youd expect for a group that size and the food was phenomenal. Best curries ive ever had. I opted for the Venison Shangri La which was beautiful but I also had some Korma (best ive ever had), as well as some other varies bits. Everything was just top top quality. Can't recommend this place enough! Very very fair prices for the quality you get.

Hands down, best Indian in Worksop. Food - Been here countless times over the years and never had a bad meal. The food is always great quality, flavourful and good portions. For how busy it gets, never had a complaint about waiting time either. Environment - It can get busy, but with two sides of the restaurant, it's always nicely spaced. The decor is well kept and themed for a darker, cosy vibe. Staff - Absolute delight; as frequent customers they're always up for a spot of banter and always polite and pleasant. Been going for years and will continue to! ⭐
